When you consider that nine out of ten girls would probably choose the glass slippers on Cinderella's feet over the Prince Charming on her arm, it's pretty genius—and also very, very thoughtful—of Disney to turn the widespread dream of owning one's very own pair of sparkly transparent stilettos into a reality.
Ahead of the highly anticipated live-action blockbuster, which hits theaters March 13, the film company has tapped nine designers to whip up their take on the fancy fabled heel. Jimmy Choo, Charlotte Olympia, Salvatore Ferragamo, Nicholas Kirkwood, Stuart Weitzman, Paul Andrew, Alexandre Birman, René Caovilla, and Jerome C. Rousseau will all be contributing to the collection, which hits shelves in just a few weeks. They'll be available at Saks Fifth Avenue near you, as well as at the designers' own boutiques.
Today, Disney and Saks unveiled all of the sketches so you can start plotting how to get your hands on your favorite pair of glass slippers now. Unless, of course, you have your own fairy godmother, in which case she can hook you up.
