The pair have spoken little about what Kristen once called a "painful" split, but a recent reunion between the two has some fans hoping for a renewal of their friendship.
A few lucky fans spotted Kristen and Robert enjoying an evening out together on February 11 and proceeded to post about the pair on Twitter. One fan described it as "just...two friends hanging out," and another said the pair preferred to blend in with everyone else there. One person even reported that Robert even accidentally interrupted their selfie attempt.
There's no photographic proof of the reported meeting, but that hasn't stopped fans from expressing their excitement over the hangout. One user isn't entirely convinced that the meeting took place, while another fan pointed out that the two often preferred to remain out of the spotlight.

Robert and Kristen have yet to comment or confirm the nature of their reunion, but it's always great to hear of two former costars spending time together. Here's hoping that maybe we'll even see them reunite on screen as Bella and Edward.
