Prince Harry takes the bus as Diana’s nephew ties the knot

She may not be the best-known member of his family, but there was no mistaking the resemblance between Prince Harry and his cousin Celia McCorquodale as they attended a wedding on Friday.

Miss McCorquodale, 22, whose mother, Lady Sarah, is the eldest sister of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, was among the guests at the wedding of Alexander Fellowes and Alexandra Finlay in the Palace of Westminster’s Chapel of St Mary Undercroft.

Prince Harry, without his girlfriend Cressida Bonas, joined his extended family on a chartered Routemaster double-decker bus which ferried them to the reception in Claridge’s hotel. Mr Fellowes, an Old Etonian, is another of the Prince’s cousins. His mother, formerly Lady Jane Spencer, is also one of the late Princess’s sisters,

Mr Fellowes and his new bride became engaged in February after he proposed during a holiday in Italy.

Lady Sarah McCorquodale and the financier Ben Goldsmith, who is a backer of the bride’s Chelsea-based men’s shoe firm Fins, also attended, with Miss McCorquodale’s elder sister Emily.

The Prince, known as the joker of his family, may have a rival in the form of his stepmother. In an interview with Australian Women’s Weekly magazine, the Prince of Wales praised the Duchess of Cornwall’s mischievous side. He said: “Camilla’s got the most wonderful sense of humour and some very good jokes.”
