What do you like about school? — Being able to receive college credit.

What is the most challenging part of school? — Staying motivated and developing time management skills; excel in college courses

What community events do you participate in? — I work full time as an STNA.

What do you like to do for fun? — Paint/Draw

Name a person outside your family that you admire and why — Teri Kirby, I admire Mrs. Kirby because without hesitation she has guided and mentored me through high school. She is a role model and has helped me plan for the next chapters in life.

About Kathryn — She received the Athena/Woman of the Year Scholarship for $2,000 during last week’s Greater Alliance Chamber of Commerce annual meeting. During the introduction, it was revealed that Goodwin wrote that she was planning a career in nursing “to help people overcome challenges in their life and to make a difference in the lives of those I meet.”
