DAVID Tennant is a beloved actor, best known for his starring role in Doctor Who.
But he's not the only actor in the family, as his wife is an actress, and her father is a past Time Lord.
Who is David Tennant's wife Georgia?
Georgia Moffett was born in London on December 25, 1984, and is the daughter of Doctor Who actor Peter Davison and his actress ex-wife Sandra Dickinson.
Following in her parents footsteps, she made her on-screen debut at the tender age of just 15 in Peak Practice in 1999, playing Nicki Davey.
The actress is perhaps best known for a recurring role as Abigail Nixon in The Bill from 2007 to 2009.
In May 2008, Georgia appeared in an episode of Doctor Who as Jenny, as the artificially-created daughter of the tenth doctor David Tennant, who is now her husband.
In 2020, along with her husband, Georgia co-starred and produced the comedy Staged, which was filmed during the Covid-19 lockdown.
In an interview with Times Radio, David described the experience as "fun".
The actor said: "It’s not something we’d done a lot of, but then suddenly we’re locked in our house and if you’re going to make a TV show there are only the people next to you who you can make it with.”
He added: “It was a very particular set of circumstances."
“Also, we’ve discovered we enjoy working together.
“Doing Staged, when we were effectively filming ourselves and directing ourselves, staging the whole thing, we discovered we quite like it.
“It’s quite fun, so we’re quite happy to do that increasingly... It just made sense."
However, David did admit that the pair would’ve been reluctant to have embarked on the project had it been earlier in their relationship.
He said: “We’ve been together a long time, we’ve got a billion kids. We’re more of a robust structure, so I don’t think we were quite so nervous as we once were."
When did David Tennant and Georgia get married?
In January 2011, The happy couple got engaged, and then tied the knot on December 30, 2011.
The following day the pair celebrated their big day in style with a New Year's Eve reception at London's Globe Theatre.
A friend said: “David and Georgia are madly in love.
"They have tried to keep everything quiet and the wedding is for family and closest friends only."
How many children do David and Georgia Tennant have?
Georgia and David have four children together and each have one child from previous relationships.
She gave birth to the couple's first child Olive on March 29 2011.
On January 5, 2013, Jonathan Ross announced, during a television interview with David Tennant, that Georgia was pregnant and three months later on May 2, 2013, she gave birth to the couple's son, Wilfred.
Two years later on November 9, 2015, David announced that he and his wife had recently had another baby daughter called Doris.
On May 2019, 22m while appearing on The Late Late Show with James Corden, David announced he and Georgia would be having their fourth child together called Birdie, who was born on October 13, 2019.
