For others tattoos are a way of expressing creativity and setting themselves apart from others.

One woman has confessed she got a tattoo for neither of those reasons even though her parents asked her to only get a tattoo if it was meaningful.

Tessa usually shares comedic dance and lifestyle videos with her friends on TikTok.

But its her tattoos that have caused her to go viral.

Tessa shared her tattoos in a video online.

She said her parents had told her: “Tattoos last forever, make sure they are meaningful.”

Tessa then revealed her two tattoos.

On her left hand she got the word ‘left’ tattooed on her wrist.

And you guessed it on her right wrist she had the word ‘right’ tattooed.

Tessa said: “Sorry mum and dad.”

Tessa’s video went viral with over 7.5 million views.

One user confessed: “Can’t even remember them so I would get this.”

Another said: “It may be meaningless but at least it is useful.”

A third viewer said: “Blonde at its finest.”
