SOCIAL media has found its latest trend after people realize an Emu egg looks like something out of a Jurassic Park picture.
Emus are the second-largest living bird in the world, after the ostrich, and their deep green-colored eggs have stirred up a firestorm on social media.

A TikToker recently shared a video of him cracking open an Emus egg, using a drill and a rotary saw blade to learn what's inside the teal-colored egg.
The content creator, who goes by Nate Petroski on TikTok, first covered the giant egg in fabric to avoid "being blown up by a pound of rotten egg."
He then proceeds to drill a hole through the hard shell, and once it thoroughly penetrates the surface, dark yolk is seen spill out of it.
However, ever curious, Petroski takes a rotary saw blade and cuts a circle around the egg.

"Turns out the inside is filled with, well... egg."
Petroski then focuses the camera on the beige-colored yolk inside the egg.
The video sparked an online frenzy with Emus eggs.
Emus eggs can sometimes be found on Whole Foods' shelves for $29.99 each, according to The New York Post.

The teal egg weighs about two pounds or the equivalent of roughly 12 chicken eggs.
Like a normal chicken egg, the exotic dinosaur-looking egg can be served up as diners wish and shared by four to eight people, Louro chef David Santos told the Post in 2014.
One diner at Louro described the egg as "very rich and very decadent."
Its texture is more similar to a duck egg than a chicken egg.
