Australian Boomers’ Coat of Arms

The Australian Basketball Players’ Association (ABPA) engaged us to design a Coat of Arms for the Australian Boomers; the national men’s basketball team. The Coat of Arms was unveiled in the lead up to the 2021 Tokyo Olympics; where the Boomers were looking to win their first ever Olympic medal. With an emphasis on creating an ongoing legacy, both on and off the court, The Boomers established a strong set of principles and values known as ‘Boomers’ Culture’. Our goal was to develop a Coat of Arms that represents a proud, passionate and successful team, driven by a strong vision and culture. The final outcome was received positively by the players themselves, the ABPA and the wider Australian basketball community as a powerful visual identity of ‘Boomers’ Culture’ for past, present and future Boomers’ to proudly stand behind.
