Kirsty Gallagher axed from Celebrity Masterchef after major blunder as fans say the same thing

KIRSTY Gallacher has been axed from Celebrity Masterchef after making a major blunder in the kitchen.

The Scots presenter, 46, appeared in just two episodes of the BBC One show before being booted off.

The Edinburgh-born TV star said goodbye to her fellow celebrities after suffering a cooking mishap.

Twenty celebrities have been put to the test by John Torode and Gregg Wallace on the cooking show over the last couple of weeks.

In last night's episode, Kirsty, Richard Blackwood, Lesley Joseph and Jimmy Bullard were all tasked with cooking crepe suzettes, an Indian dish, and a brunch dish.

But after putting too much salt into her final dish, Kirsty was sent home.

Gregg praised Kirsty's brunch dish, saying it was lovely" with "wonderful flavours."

But John told how she ends up getting herself in a panic after slowing down once she's done a lot of work.

He said: "She seems to get lots of work done, then slows down to the last minute, where she panics."

Kirsty revealed that she thought had "gone as far as she could", but added that she loved her time on the show.

She said: "I have loved every minute of it.

"I think probably I have gone as far as correct for me and actually those three are the three that should go through."

While Lesley said she felt "beyond excited" after hearing that she had progressed through to the next stage.

And Richard told how he felt "elated" and "really happy" to have impressed the judges.

But fans were left saying the same thing after they felt that Richard should have been axed from the show instead.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Surely Kirsty deserved to go through - she was better than Richard in all three rounds".
