This summer a super-achieving girl of modest background will win the first scholarship to the prestigious Grangewood School for Young Ladies. Daisy Pulls It Off is a spiffing yarn that is both funny and charming, and it is, at times, where Mallory Towers meets Scooby Doo! Set in the 1920s it is a parody of life at a girls’ boarding school with a clear message to us all to be more accepting of others, to judge less, and know that we have much to learn from each other no matter what our background.
