It's Not Just The U.S., Subaru Outback Is A Hot Global Model

The 2023 Subaru Outback is hot in the U.S. and around the globe. Check out its amazing success.

The 2023 Subaru Subaru Outback continues to impress buyers in the U.S., but it's a popular model around the globe. In the U.S., the Outback is now the top-selling all-wheel-drive model in Subaru of America's lineup.

Outback is having success around the globe. It's the top-selling model in Canada and Australia.

North of the border, Subaru Canada, Inc reports the Outback had its best June ever in sales. And in Australia, they report the exceptional achievement of the Subaru Outback. The midsize SUV reached new heights with a record-breaking month of sales.

2023 Subaru Outback global success

Blair Read, Subaru Australia's Managing Director, expressed enthusiasm for the record-breaking sales performance, stating, "The advantage of Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel-drive and its all-road capability makes the Subaru Outback appeal to drivers across Australia. Adding the Outback XT sees this model range go from strength to strength."

What sets the Outback apart from other midsize SUVs?

What sets the Outback apart from other family SUVs? All Outback midsize SUV trim levels ride higher with extra ground clearance than most family haulers. The Outback has 8.7 inches of ground clearance, Subaru's Symmetrical all-wheel-drive is standard on all trims, and X-Mode for all-terrain performance comes on all models. The Outback also gets the highest safety scores from the IIHS.

The Outback isn't slowing down.

All this success happens before the 2024 Subaru Outback arrives. The 2024 Outback boasts improved technology, design, and safety with now-standard Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology with a Wide-angle mono camera for improved pedestrian and cyclist detection.

And global sales will continue to increase for the Outback as it gets new upgrades for the 2024 model change. For 2024, the midsize SUV gets further improvements like upgraded LED dome and cargo lights; a 360-degree heated steering wheel is now standard on more trim levels, including Wilderness and other Onyx Edition trim upgrades.
