Oscar-winning British actor Colin Firth has put himself on the auction block for charity in association with Oxfam America, an international relief and development organization that creates lasting solutions to poverty, hunger, and injustice. The winning bidder will get the opportunity to bring a friend along to meet Firth at the Los Angeles premiere of Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy on December 6, as well as an invitation to the afterparty at the Chateau Marmont, at which they’ll arrive in by chauffered limousine. The auction, which is on eBay, ends tonight. The current bid is US$5,100. Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy opens December 16 in Canada.

He is way cool! How I wish I was filthy rich. I wouldn’t mind giving away $20K to attend this event.
Agree with Kris, Colin is way cool. I would love to meet him.
Auction ended at 10,000
10,000 OMG… definitely worth it, given it is Colin and the money goes to charity. My only wish is that I had enough money to part with 10,000 and have it not be an issue.
