Today marks the 20 year anniversary of the Bali Bombings where a total of 202 people were killed including 88 Australians in a terrorist attack.

It's hard to believe that people who are now 20 years old were not even born to know of the horrors of that night where a suicide bomber walked into Paddy's bar in the Kuta, Indonesia, and detonated a device followed by a car bomb explosion only minutes later outside of the Sari club.

There were a further 209 people injured including Australian Nicole McLean who lost her arm in the attack after she was standing only a meter away from the suicide bomber at Paddy's Bar.

How she survived is nothing short of a miracle, but helped by the heroic actions of her friends and medics who treated her for her extensive wounds.

She goes onto say that "this day has never been about her, but about remembering the people we lost that night in Kuta".

She tells her incredible story of survival to Triple M Breakfast with Marto & Margaux.
