Design technology program.
A very helpful resource for my reading wall display. This will be a great help when groups are taking part in reciprocal reading.
Thank you for adapting this resource so the colours match the ones we use at school. I can now use it for my Bloom's display in the classroom.
For supporting the children in class when asking questions.
Planning.
Just the job for my Year 4 class- thanks

Hi, I really like this resource, but I was wondering can I edit it to change the colours of each level to the revised version of Blooms Taxonomy. For example Remembering is purple, Understanding is blue etc. Thank you :)
Hi there leerowe90, thanks for your comment! I have requested an editable version of this resource for you so you can edit the colour headings. :)
Hello there
One of our designers has made an alternative version for you which I am sending you by email now :)
Hi Jules, Could I too have the alternative version please? Many thanks :)
Hi there gemmahumphrey, thanks for your comment! We now have the alternative version on the site underneath the main download button on this page. :)
I think this resource is great! I've used it to help me generate questions to put in each provision area to support adults with their questioning of the children. I have just noticed there's 2 pages titled I understand, should one say I can apply? :)
Hey there Frybie, thanks for commenting! I've had a look, and forwarded your comment to our resource designers to look into :)

These posters encourage children to be independent learners, using categories and questions based on Bloom's taxonomy. They can be used across all subjects.
If you are a teacher looking to keep a set of these prompts with you during the day, you might find our Bloom's Taxonomy Question Cards useful. These cards are ideal for putting on lanyards, and make for an excellent way to quickly check and ensure your lesson plans are satisfying the criteria laid out in the taxonomy.
Alternatively, these Bloom's Taxonomy questions are specifically geared towards readers. They reframe the questions outlined in the taxonomy in a way that is meant to check and measure how well a reader has understood the subject, characters and other elements of a text. They can be used for both fiction and non-fiction books and texts.
Bloom's Taxonomy is a methodology for categorising educational goals. By using the taxonomy, it becomes possible to measure how effective lessons and learning goals have been understood and internalised by children. It was designed to help teachers and educators to understand and measure how well lessons have been written and conceived, as well as to provide help in designing and conceptualising future lessons to makes sure they are as effective as possible for teaching children. Bloom's Taxonomy was devised and published in 1956, and has been used by generations of educators and teachers ever since.
