President Obama gets technical with his golf game

President Obama has come under heavy criticism for playing too much golf.

But no one can say the First Golfer isn't serious about his game.

Obama was photographed recently playing Martha's Vineyard with NBA star Ray Allen using Game Golf, a wearable digital tracking system that automatically records the distance of shots and their accuracy that then can be used to determine a player's strengths and weaknesses.

Game Golf consists of a small, light-weight device worn on the player's belt and individual sensor tags that attach to the top of the grip on each club.

Every shot can then be recorded using GPS and motion sensing technology. A player taps the end of the club to a device worn on the waist before every shot.

A player can upload the data via computer to GAMEGOLF.com for review of every shot of every round.

This can also be viewed via a mobile app or web platform.

Game Golf does not provide real-time club distances and data, and information cannot be viewed on a player's mobile device during their round.
