HARLINGEN, Texas (ValleyCentral) — KVEO NBC23/CBS4 won two awards at the Texas Broadcasting News Awards.
The station was nominated in four categories for the TBN Awards hosted on April 13, in Austin.
KVEO NBC23/CBS4 took home the award for Best Documentary/TV Special for its series RGV True Crime: Standoff on Orchid Path.
The special was hosted by CBS4 Lead Investigator Derick Garcia and CBS4 Morning/Midday News Anchor Daisy Martinez.
Our CBS4 Evening News Anchor/Lead Investigator Derick Garcia also won the category for Best Television Reporter.
CBS4 Lead Investigator Derick Garcia has reported for RGV True Crime Television Series, 956 Vanished, Food 4 Thought and CBS4 Investigates.
