People often spot bizarre, whimsical or recognizable shapes in clouds, but it is far less common to see them in the forest--unless someone made them appear that way.
A Vancouver Island woman has shared a photo on Reddit of a rather unique-looking piece of wood that her mother found while she was out riding her quad.
The rather phallic-shaped image has received several comments on the social media platform, with some people pointing out that it even looks "circumcised."
Reddit user RedAndBlueMittens jokes, "Morning wood?" while Dee-Eyy-Ay asks, "Where is this located? Asking for a friend..."
Another Reddit user, jonah0626, remarks that "He's packing."
The original poster, Lily Camp, tells Vancouver Is Awesome that her mom lives in a trailer park across from the Nanaimo airport where there isn't much to do but enjoy a quad or bike ride.
"[My mom] goes quading at least five times a week down by Nanaimo rivers and she is always finding the coolest things!" she says.
"She loves bones and skulls and she puts them out in her garden. It looks really cool."
Funky looking wood
Whenever her mother is out looking for bones and skulls, she always keeps her eyes open for different wood and driftwood pieces, explains Camp, who adds that she "has found some funky looking wood out there."
Camp's mother uses wood pieces to build a kind of fence around her garden where she puts her bones and skulls. "My mom is a huge hippie and she loves her herbs and plants."
