Some slightly reassuring news for Ann Curry, the Todayanchor whom NBC is reportedly replacing in the next few weeks: the network is allegedly planning to offer the 15-year NBC veteran a $10 million payout, meaning that she would generously be compensated for an additional year in her contract. NBC has not yet named a successor for Curry, who assumed the role ofTodayco-host after Meredith Vieira’s departure last year, and has since been blamed in part by NBC executives for the show’s sinking ratings.
