Got this a while ago from ahrma361
Been working on it when I feel well but cervical and lumbar back issues stop me cold.

I am getting the diabolical gear change mechanism soon then I can button up the engine

Yeah ohiomotoxer, that's why I sold it to you, get that sumbitch going! That's the kind of therapy you need! And, it's easier to work on than old Oliver tractors.

I got that out of a shed where it sat dormant for 30+ years. Amazingly original with lots of "patina"!

Old Dan Behr always raced one just like it in AHRMA Classic.

Actually my 125 Hoosk was the classic killer, whenever those illegal Sl 125's dont show up.
I had one of those Sl's outmotor my killer 125 Snore....UP HILL !!!
I was the 1996 AHRMA classic 125 expert National Champion on the Hoosk

I always liked Dans bike, he was always a nice chap to talk to. That is why I wanted this bike.

Speaking of bulbus, this shot makes it look like I am wearing one of those suits you wear when jumping off cliffs....

Nothing sweeter than the sound of a 125 Elsinore at WFO throttle!

You by chance race that at Steamboat in 92 or 93? I don't remember a Shinobi headed one there, but then again there were 50 entries in the 125 Sportsman Int. as well as 50 in the 250 Sportsman Int. in 93.

Mike: You learned the meaning of WFO when you used my bike at that Michigan track.

Newman.
I only raced Steamboat in 1994.
I had several variation Snores for 1994. The shinobi for really hot days, a DG head non shinobi version for long fast tracks and the Marty Smith for mud or really jumpy tracks.
I used to change stuff around depending on the trackconditions.
Ive got a clapped out fiber G tank somewhere

When someone starts talking about Husky 125s, my ears perk up....Here is a video from Diamond Don's in 2014....you might want to turn up the volume if you like the sound of tiddlers...by the way, really like your DKW.
