The Oxfam Curiosity Shop's doors are now open for business and you can get your hands on some stellar buys indeed - including the ethical Nina Skarra-designed dress worn by Livia Firth at the BAFTAs the night Colin Firth won his award for his role in The King's Speech.

Open until April 10 in Selfridges' Ultralounge on the lower ground floor, there is also an online version of the shop at www.selfridges.com/auction. The first Oxfam Curiosity Shop launched last year and raised £250,000.

At the launch of this year's initiative last night, over £215,000 was raised in less than two hours. Colin and Livia Firth were guests of honour at the evening and were joined by Annie Lennox, Rupert Friend, Ruby Wax and Zoe Ball - who played host.
