Dusty Blue/Steel Blue Bridesmaid Dresses

Here's the color/looks I love.

Definitely get the color swatches. I'm not sure if anyone has this issue, but on all my devices, the colors on the screen for Azazie's pictures are way off from the color of the actual fabric swatches. I thought I liked Ink Blue but I'm glad I bought different swatches in a similar color family, as Peacock's swatch matched how Ink Blue looked online.

You could always pick the designer and tell them which color, and then let them pick the style.

For example - tell them that they can pick any dress in dusty blue from Azazie. That way it's the color you want but they can pick a style they feel comfortable in.

Definitely get the color swatch from Azazie! I like this color too, but I ended up deciding to go with a slightly brighter version (Blue Jay) for my spring wedding. I was on the fence until I got the swatch and was able to see the fabric in person vs. on the screen.

They all need to order from one site or the other. Swatches are important. My sister wanted peach or coral, so i sent several swatches. She ended up choosing pearl pink as her favorite color

I'm doing Dusty Blue/Steel Blue dresses and am using the same inspiration pic! I found that the color that matched the best was from Weddingtonway.com I went to their store and had girls that were in Chicago try them on but my other bridesmaids will just order online! They have lots of options and if they all order from the same place they get a discount! Affordable but well made I highly recommend!

Have them order all from one sight and the same color but different styles. However I'd still get the swatches to make sure the color is matching the online photo. Different devices have different color saturations and resolutions and won't really know what you're getting until you see it in person

I chose the steel blue from Davids..it's really pretty.

This is exactly what I am doing for our wedding - I ordered swatches from both David's and Azazie websites and saw the David's steel blue in person - they are drastically different. We are going with Azazie. It's the perfect shade of light dusty blue

I love the dusty blue color too! I’m trying to decide which shade looks better between Azazie, David’s Bridal and Weddingtonway. Does any one have pictures of the swatches next to each other or pictures of your bridesmaids with the dresses on?

^^^ Yes I would love to see pictures of the steel blue beside the dusty blue. I am having a hard time deciding between those two colors!

Glad to see I'm not the only one comparing these two colors! I actually just went to David's Bridal yesterday to compare their Steel Blue with the Dusty Blue color swatch I ordered from Azazie. I'd still recommend seeing the colors in person since the lighting for my picture wasn't great. The Steel Blue at David's even varied depending on what fabric you choose. The chiffon (the dress in the middle) is slightly lighter than the lace and mesh dresses.

Hope this helps anyone still looking! I like the idea of having two tones of blue, but I'm not sure if using both the Azazie and David's colors would look okay together.

The dresses in the picture above are from David's, it's just the swatch that's from Azazie. I think they're more blue than purple in person.

I am so glad I am not the only one with this problem! This is such a great color, but getting them to match is tough.

This is a comparison of David’s Bridal steel blue (the smallest swatch) vs. Azazie’s steel blue and dusty blue. Just in case someone is still running into this problem like I am lol

View Quoted Comment I think it depends on the fabric of the dress and the lighting, in some lighting the color looks really dark and in bright lighting it’s a really nice shade of blue. Definitely closer to Navy on the blue spectrum but definitely a lot lighter.
