Lord of the Rings' David Wenham Joins Marvel's Iron Fist
Meet Harold Meachum.
David Wenham has joined the cast of Marvel's upcoming Netflix-exclusive series Iron Fist.
The Lord of the Rings and 300 actor will play Harold Meachum, "a ruthless corporate leader" who was a partner of Danny Rand/Iron Fist's (Finn Jones) parents during the time of their passing.
Marvel's Iron Fist tells the story of Danny Rand, who, upon returning to New York City after going missing for several years, fights crime using his kung-fu skills and "ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist."
In addition to Wenham and Jones, the series also stars Game of Thrones' actress Jessica Henwick as martial artist and dojo owner Colleen Wing.
Iron Fist is being spearheaded by showrunner Scott Buck (Dexter) and serves as the fourth Marvel-Netflix Original Series, ultimately leading into the miniseries event The Defenders.
