Type: Schlechter 19155 (holo B, lost).
Synonyms:
Rhizome to 35 cm long, suberect to patent, stem-like, branching, rigid, roots elongate, filiform, flexuose, glabrous. Pseudobulbs 1-leaved, narrowly ellipsoid, laterally flattened, 2.5-4 by 0.7-1 cm. Leaves ovate-lanceolate, 7.5-10.5 by 2.5-3.2 cm, base rounded, apex acute, apiculate, subcoriaceous, glabrous, rather shiny, midrib keeled on adaxial side. Inflorescences in few-flowered terminal fascicles, 1-flowered, arising near the adaxial side of the leaf. Floral bracts minute. Pedicel and ovary 0.9 cm long, glabrous, cylindrical-clavate. Flower c. 1.5 cm across. Dorsal sepal broadly ovate, 0.7 cm long, apex apiculate. Lateral sepals obliquely broadly ovate, 0.7 cm long, apex apiculate; mentum absent. Petals obliquely ovate-lanceolate, c. 0.65 cm long, apex obtuse; glabrous. Lip oblong-rectangular, somewhat widened in the middle, 0.7 by 0.4 cm, base cuneate, smooth, apex truncate, minutely apiculate. Column very short, clinandrium with 3 acute lobules; rostellum absent; column-foot absent. Anther subreniform-rectangular, cordate, apiculate, glabrous.
