Natalya Grigorieva is pictured above at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester where she
took the Gold with a vault of 4.35m. She is part of a talented athletics family with husband
Viktor Chistyakov finishing 5th in the Pole Vault at the 2000 Olympics. Her mother-in-law is
Natalya Pechenkina (later Chistyakov) who won medals at the 1968 Olympics and 1971 Euro Champs.
Father-in-law Valentin Chistyakov also finished 6th in the 110m Hurdles at the 1960 Olympics !
