Sold for $15,500 on 11/17/22

This 1998 Lexus GS300 has 12k miles and remained registered to its original owner in New York prior to the selling dealer’s acquisition in November 2022. The car is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and is finished in Burnished Gold Metallic over beige leather upholstery. Equipment includes five-spoke 16” alloy wheels, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, fog lights, a powered glass sunroof, power-adjustable and heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a premium AM/FM/cassette stereo with a six-disc CD changer. The selling dealer reports work in October 2022 that included changing the oil and replacing the tires and battery. This GS300 is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, three keys, a Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.

The car is finished in Burnished Gold Metallic (4P2) with two-tone pinstripes and features fog lights, a powered glass sunroof, and dual exhaust outlets. Scratches and a scuff on the front bumper are noted by the selling dealer, and close-up images of the body, paint, and trim are provided in the gallery below. A September 2006 entry in the Carfax report notes an accident with another motor vehicle, with no further details provided.

Five-spoke 16” alloy wheels wear 215/60 Vee Rubber Vitron tires that were reportedly mounted in October 2022. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes.

The heated and power-adjustable front bucket seats and the rear bench are upholstered in beige leather, complemented by wood accents on the center console and door panels. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, driver’s seat position memory, a digital clock, and a premium AM/FM/cassette stereo with a six-disc CD changer housed in the locking glove compartment.

The leather-wrapped three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, a gear indicator, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer shows 12k miles.

The 3.0-liter inline-six features dual overhead camshafts, four valves per cylinder, and variable valve timing. Factory-rated output was 225 horsepower and 220 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer states that the battery was replaced and the oil was changed in October 2022.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Areas of underbody rust are noted by the selling dealer, with additional images provided in the gallery.

The Carfax report notes the aforementioned September 2006 damage report and lists history in New York and New Jersey.
