Day trip to Reine from Svolvaer: The picturesque fishing village Reine, with its scenic landscape of Reinefjord and the small islands, is dotted with red fishermen’s cottages and hugged in between steep mountains that rise straight up from the sea. It is one of Norway’s most photographed villages. Reine consists of several small islands, all connected by bridges. It is about two-hour drive from Svolvaer. The day trip took almost 7-8 hours for sightseeing and photographing.

You can usually get a nice fish soup in Maryland but is no comparison with this one with fresh cod and small shrimps and squid.
