Description
When ordering a “Fresh” cup of Fruit Flies you will receive a culture that is less than 1 week old or less. It will include enough flies, media and food to last your culture for weeks! A fresh culture should begin to produce when it is about 20 days old. It is important that you DO NOT feed off your seed stock of flies. If you need feed your animals immediately then consider purchasing a Producing culture.
We find the best method to always have a Fresh Culture and a Producing Culture, by doing this you will have food now and food once your producing culture has stopped.
Melanogaster are roughly 1/16” in size and are GREAT for Frogs, Chameleons, Fish, Insects or Anything that needs to feed in small insects.
Cultures should be kept at room temperature (mid 70’s) and at least 60% humidity for the best results.
