True Vintage audiophile speakers. TOTL in the golden age of audio. Wonderful sounding throughout the entire musical spectrum. Very stylish to fit that MCM decor. They will make a statement to all that enter your music room.
I believe this set is a good as you will ever find. They are immaculate cosmetically. Electronically they are now mint. The original tweeters that are by now usually problematic have recently been rebuilt. A full coil rewinding and re dampening was done by one of only a few individuals that still do this kind of work. It was $700.00. The tweeters were in such unmolested condition I chose this route instead of just putting in new diaphragms or cheaper replacement tweeters. The woofers were refoamed by Soundhounds in Victoria. I chose not to recap them because they sound so very good. The grills are original and mint.
This speaker is a must have for any vintage audio enthusiast.
The quality stands, I think Linn or Harbeth, are available as well. They seem to fit nicely with the speakers.
