A member of the City University of New York system, Queens College is a large public college that reflects the cultural diversity of Queens, its home borough. The college offers 69 undergraduate programs, with the most popular including computer science, psychology, and accounting. Those in the Macaulay Honors College program are equipped with full tuition, a free laptop, and study-abroad opportunities. Students stem from all walks of life, with nearly a third of Queens College students born in another country. The college is federally designated as both a Hispanic-Serving Institution and an Asian American and Native American Pacific Islander-Serving Institution. Queens College has more than 100 clubs and organizations, along with several Greek organizations. The Knights play in the East Coast Conference at the Division II level.
