Lupita Nyong'o and Joshua Jackson Celebrated Her Birthday With a Mexico Getaway and Some PDA

Cuffing season remains strong, and Lupita Nyong'o and Joshua Jackson are proof. The two actors were spotted together on vacation in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, where they engaged in PDA.

In the photos, obtained by E! News, the possible couple hit up the beach in celebration for Nyong'o's 41st birthday and enjoyed some time in the sun. During their beach outing, the pair was seen holding hands, smiling during their conversations, kissing and more.

"They vacationed in Puerto Vallarta for Lupita’s birthday," a source told People about Nyong'o and Jackson. "They only had eyes for each other all weekend. They kept kissing, laughing and just had the best time."

Dating rumors first started swirling about the pair back in October 2023, when they were seen together at a Janelle Monáe concert in Los Angeles, which they attended with other Hollywood friends.

Both Jackson and Nyong'o recently came out of relationships. The Dawson's Creek actor's estranged wife, Jodie Turner-Smith, filed for divorce on October 1 after four years of marriage, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for their split. Speaking about the break up, Turner-Smith told the Sunday Times in an interview published February 25, "Sometimes things we really want to work just don't end up working, and that's OK. The most important thing is that you choose what's healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children."

Nyong'o, meanwhile, broke her silence about her break up with Selema Masekela in a February 26 interview with PORTER. "I was living in a lot of pain and heartbreak," she said, referring to her announcing their split via Instagram in October. "I looked at the environment of my social media and thought I don’t want to be a part of this illusion that everything is always coming up roses. Surely there is a lesson for me to learn in this, and I just want to be real about it."
